The interface is simple: music is displayed in the program's main window, and the user is graded on how correctly the notes or chords are played. As the exercise proceeds, the score is continually updated. If a note or chord is played incorrectly, the program does not proceed until the correct note or chord is played.
The simplicity of the program allows for great flexibility: the program can be used to learn notes or clefs, to learn chord progressions, or even to play musical games. Over 150 exercises are included with the program, and a File Creator utility is available for the development of custom exercises.
The program can be used for informal practice or structured testing. A Score Receiver program is included that allows anyone to quickly and easily create a structured testing environment.
