etCD is a CD player for the Mac OS. It was designed to retrieve CD information from the CDDB Internet Database... version 1.0. The CDDB has moved on, as has the Mac OS, so NetCD no longer functions as intended and was never updated for Mac OS X. Besides, iTunes does everything NetCD used to do and a lot more.

However, NetCD works on older systems and can be configured to use the FreeDB and other open-source CD Information Databases, so I provide it below. Note that the software is no longer updated or supported... if you find it useful, have at it!
